| Karatina Trip - June 2007 | |||||
When: January 17- 27, 2009 This trip is primarily designed for high school and college students, however, all ages are welcome. This trip will focus on relationship building with the 26 children of Pavilion Village Orphanage in Karatina, Kenya. Among other activities, students will be asked to participate in a backyard bible club type program and to assist in construction projects including renovations to existing staff quarters. Opportunities for street evangelism will also be available. On the last 3 days of the trip participants will enjoy a true African safari at a nearby national park. Costs of this trip include all lodging and meals in country, ground transportation in country, an all inclusive 3 day safari to a nearby National Park, and the costs of a local guide and trained missions director from the US. Accomodations will be provided at a local hotel or guest house. Airfare can be arranged by AIM or on your own and is in addition to the trip fee of $1,500.00. If you wish to make your own arrangements for air travel, they should be coordinated with the AIM office so that we can insure you will be met at the airport upon arrival to link up with the team. Participants are encouraged to allow AIM to make airline reservations so that they will be traveling together as a group. Students under 18 are required to travel with the AIM team or to have a signed consent form from their parent or guardian on file with the AIM office.
